True To Life Competitions – COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“T&Cs”)

THE PROMOTER AND THE T&CS

  1. The promoter of all the competitions on our website (“our Website”): truetolifecompetitions.co.uk is True To Life Competitions of 7 Fisher Road, Bristol, BS15 4RQ (Co. No. 16725660, "True To Life Competitions", "we", "our", "us").

The address of the Competition Manager for the purposes of paragraph 3 of Schedule 1 is True To Life Competitions, 7 Fisher Road, Bristol, BS15 4RQ.

“Paragraph” shall mean a paragraph in the T&Cs.

THE COMPETITION

  1. The T&Cs shall apply to all competitions advertised on Our Website. By submitting a competition entry, you agree to be bound by the T&Cs in force at that time. We may make changes to the T&Cs from time to time, so please check them each time you use Our Website.

  2. We run various competitions on Our Website from time to time. The details of each competition (“the Competition”) are as described on the relevant Competition page (“Competition Page”), which may also state the maximum number of entries we will accept before closing the Competition.

HOW TO ENTER

  1. The Competition will be open until the date and time (“the Closing Date”) shown on the Competition Page.

  2. All Competition entries must be received by us no later than the Closing Date. Any received after the Closing Date will be automatically disqualified.

  3. Each Competition entry is represented by a unique number (“Entry Number”) for which payment is required (unless the free postal entry route is used), as indicated on the Competition Page. To obtain an Entry Number, there are two available routes:

EITHER – PAID ONLINE COMPETITION

6.1 Enter online via the Competition Page by paying the stated price per entry. You may either choose or be allocated Entry Number(s) (each one being a separate transaction).
NOTE: You must open a free online account and register your details.

OR – FREE POSTAL COMPETITION

6.2 Enter for free by complying fully with the postal entry requirements set out in Schedule 1. You will be allocated an Entry Number for each valid postcard received.
NOTE: You must open a free online account via the Competition Page and register your details.

Entering the Competition creates a legally binding contract between us. We recommend saving or printing a copy of these T&Cs.

  1. The Winner will be selected from all chosen or allocated Entry Numbers by a random number generator (Google random number generator, www.random.org or similar technology). The draw will be carried out:

7.1 Live via one of the social media platforms shown on the Competition Page; or
7.2 Automatically by Our Website

Within seven days after the Closing Date.

  1. Paid online entries are non-refundable unless we cancel the Competition (see paragraph 9).

CANCELLATIONS OR EXTENSIONS

  1. We may cancel any Competition due to a force majeure event (defined in Schedule 2). In such circumstances, all entry fees will be refunded.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Competitions are open to persons aged 18 or over and resident in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland only.

They are not open to:

  • 10.1 Our employees or employees of our holding/subsidiary companies

  • 10.2 Employees of our agents or suppliers professionally connected with the Competition

  • 10.3 Immediate family or household members of the above

  1. By entering, you confirm eligibility. We may require proof. No refunds will be made for ineligible entries.

  2. We will not accept entries that are:

  • Automatically generated

  • Completed by third parties

  • Bulk entries

  • Altered, forged or tampered with

  • Received after the Closing Date

  • Incomplete or unmatched to a registered account

  • Part of a scheme using multiple names/addresses

  1. We accept no responsibility for technical failures preventing entry.

  2. Maximum entries per person may apply as stated on the Competition Page.

  3. Conduct contrary to the spirit of the Competition may result in disqualification.

  4. Payments and wallet balances are non-refundable but may be used for future entries.

THE PRIZE

  1. The Prize will be described on the Competition Page. The winning Entry Number will be displayed there.

  2. Where an alternative cash prize is offered, the Winner must elect by email within five working days.

  3. The Prize is non-transferable.

  4. We may substitute the Prize with a cash alternative of equal value if necessary.

WINNERS

  1. Our decision is final.

  2. After the Closing Date we will:

  • Not amend registered contact information

  • Contact the Winner by email or telephone

  1. Within 7 days of the Closing Date, we will publish the Winner’s name and county of residence with the winning ticket number.

You agree to reasonable publicity.

CLAIMING AND DELIVERY OF THE PRIZE

  1. Delivery may take up to 14 days.

  2. Delivery will be in person or via courier. Costs are borne by us unless otherwise stated.

  3. If the Winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the Prize within 21 days, we may offer it to another eligible entrant.

  4. Failure to claim within 21 days forfeits the Prize.

  5. If the Prize is a motor vehicle, title transfer will be completed using DVLA Form V5C. Tax and insurance are the Winner’s responsibility.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  1. We are not liable for loss, damage, personal injury or death except where caused by our negligence. Statutory rights are unaffected.

DATA PROTECTION

  1. We will process personal information in accordance with our Privacy & Cookie Policy.
